A Healthy Source of Food

One of the many benefitting things we produce in our lives is something we rarely get to see. It's fruit

The bible says - Be fruitful and multiply! And many teach us this is children or means have many offspring. And it does to a point But what if we consider a different fruit? What if we aren't looking at the most relevant fruit?

First allow me to share a thought that came to me. some may grow their own food. But you rarely enjoy your fruit. This came to me via social media. People, we're not the consumer our primary energy output. We're not the consumer of our fruit! Our fruit is for others.

This even applies to our offspring. We send them out into the world for others to digest and be nourished... we send them out as representatives of the light and life sown in us. We send them, put them out -bring something into the world that is not ours to fully enjoy.

As the pastor teaches and it comes further to mind. Jesus walking by a random fig tree expecting fruit. To eat? Finding none He cursed the tree. The pastor didn't use this particular tale however he shared another. His message was even more differing. I was about being connected to the source. But one thing he shared. You don't overcome for you. Your fruit is not for you!

You are to stay connected and feed on the light and life of the source; to produce.  To produce food for the people around you. The people who are coming and going on the way you're walking. The fruit you produce is not to feed you. It's to provide a healthy meal for those who enter and exit your life, your circle.

All that's going on in your life is to produce for God's people. So you can produce what His people need in their hour. That's how the blessing is shared and passed on.

As one pastor put it. You don't see a fig tree eating figs. You don't see an apple tree enjoying apples. Your fruit is not meant for you!

We may endure growing pains. We may enjoy some special nourishment. even to the point of being and bearing the bounty of a harvest. But more than anything. We are a planting of HIS! We are seeds that when mature... the fields are ripe but Jesus never said stand around eating. He said there is more work to produce! There is more of you for others, for the benefit of the message going forward. There is more for the world to consume, digest and ultimately grow from. All from our supply of fruit.

This demands a couple of reminders. Be and bear good fruit. And share the message (the blessing) with others. We have the power, we are empowered,

Be Blessed to do more and be more, TOGETHER!
