Today's Meditative Thought: Keep On Pushing

Psalm 118:13, 14 (NLT) -My enemies did their best to kill me, but the Lord rescued me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.

(HCSB) You pushed me hard to make me fall, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.

The preceding scripture symbolizes my view and the voice of the lion’s well. The inspiration I draw from the word of God, indeed from The Lion of the tribe of Judah (His Son) is have no fear God’s got your back.

For today’s inspiration there’s a look at life as a picture. An image where man has tried and will try to push you down. Whether for his own gain or because he simply wants to witness your demise, there will be things to cause you to stumble. These things though don’t have to defeat you. You can use them to remind you who you (I) choose to walk with. Again God’s got your back. God will help you and defend your cause. And in overcoming there is a hallelujah.

As scribed in the second verse, the writer declares for the reader, the LORD is my strength and my Song…  Translated – Hallelujah or (Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy)

He has become my Salvation… Hallelujah (God’s got my back) (Jesus to the rescue)

The Great Commandment: Love Your Neighbor

First broached in the Ten Commandments (Lev 19:18) and expounded further by the author himself (Matthew 22:36-40). Love your neighbor is a huge commandment that is of such importance it is one of only two the author iterates is the compass of the law.

But then the question becomes who is my neighbor?

The most immediate answer being, how big is your God?
How expansive is your neighborhood?

To love your neighbor as you love yourself isn’t limited by or to what feels good. It’s not subject to what they can do for you or where they’re from. It’s only subject is, how much do you love you? This is how much you’re to love your neighbor.

As Christians we inhabit a huge neighborhood produced by a huge God. A God who chose to share His love unlimited with you and for you. Giving His son, His only begotten, flesh and blood to redeem mankind.

He gave everything to and for you. His friend his creation, man. And his only command is to choose,

The Grass, The Flowers and Remembering to Breathe

Isaiah 40:7, 8 (NIV) The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

There are moments when as beautiful as we are we forget the land is shaped by God. This is His garden, we are His handiwork.
As inspired as we feel to be touched by His words. We still so easily shrink away in the moments or situations of trouble. Faltering as the faded flower or withering as dying grass because it seems, the wind, particularly harsh to be in his presence on a specific day.
However these are the days when our beauty is made.
Shared with the garden and on full display for all who venture in, we are here being touched (transformed) by God.

Consider it a sharing of the seed He’s put inside you, an expansion of His promise.
We are here for a moment. A time and a place of His desire; but what we have to look forward to is a permanent presence with Him.
What he has established (His Word) will endure forever.

May God’s Breathe (SPIRIT) push you forward this morning - evening - afternoon.

Today's Inspiration - Hallelujah

Today’s hallelujah is brought to you by
The light.

That big beautiful shinning bulb that hit my eyes first thing this morning.
I awoke
It’s morning time
And I can see it.

I get a chance to live another day
Another opportunity to be better than I was and better than I think to be.

Yesterday, It came and went
Today I can spark the revolution I feel inside,
The revelation I’m better than this
This isn't the end.
This painting ain't complete
I got some seeing to do.
I’ve got some eyes to open
Knock a few heads if I have to
But wait...
You’re not supposed to just knock people in the head
Are you?
